See Cirque du Soleil's LUZIA in San Francisco Starting Nov. 17

Cirque du Soleil is coming to San Francisco, starting on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016. The mega-popular circus and theater group will be putting on LUZIA; a work that was inspired by the culture, music and dance of Mexico.

"Cirque du Soleil’s upcoming Big Top production LUZIA features original music written by Canadian composer Simon Carpentier. The LUZIA album takes Carpentier’s original music written for a live acoustic setting and passes it through the filter of the electro-pop of Nortec Collective’s Bostich + Fussible, infused with brassy Mexican and Latin American sounds,” the event’s website said.

This fun event will be the perfect opportunity for families around the San Francisco area, including folks in our very own Colma, to see a truly spectacular show unlike any other. Cirque du Soleil has long been a favorite of Northern California residents, who are transfixed by their high-octane rhythms and entrancing acrobatics.

LUZIA begins its run in the Bay Area on Thursday, Nov. 17, ending in late January, so be sure to visit their website here to buy your tickets before they are sold out.

We hope all of our friends and neighbors will head out to AT&T Park this month to see Cirque du Soleil in action!
