Praised for its blend of utility and electric efficiency, the Ford F-150 Lightning has quickly become a leader in the electric pickup segment. It rides on the acclaimed Ford F-150 platform but swaps the gasoline engine for an electric powertrain. The newest model year introduces subtle tweaks to standard equipment and now includes a mobile charging cord with an NACS adapter.
What Are the 2025 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?
The 2025 Lightning is offered in five trims.
The Pro base trim includes vinyl seats and flooring, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a factory trailer hitch. It also includes satellite radio, a digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 120V outlet. The Pro rolls on 18-inch wheels, sports LED headlights, and supports DC fast charging.
The XLT trim upgrades to carpeted floors, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather steering wheel, under-seat storage, and additional safety technology.
The Flash trim features 20-inch wheels, a power tailgate with integrated step, a larger 15.5-inch touchscreen, a heated steering wheel, push-button start, and keyless entry. It also includes a wireless charger, an upgraded eight-speaker B&O audio system, BlueCruise hands-free driving, and more driver-assist features.
Lariat adds a dual-panel sunroof, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.
Platinum tops the lineup with 22-inch wheels, a 14-speaker premium audio system, massaging front seats, upgraded leather trim, a towing package, and Pro Power Onboard providing 9.6 kW.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 F-150 Lightning Have?
Standard dual motors deliver 452 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque. The extended-range battery on upper trims boosts output to 580 hp and extends range.
