Just because the headlights on your vehicle appear foggy, don't think they are going to fail and you'll need to replace them. Here are a few simple techniques for restoring the foggy headlight lenses to like new again. 
Toothpaste can be used for more than polishing your teeth. Toothpaste has just the right amount of abrasives that can clean the headlights, leaving them clear without having to get them replaced. Moisten a rag with warm water, put a dab of toothpaste on the headlight, polish in circular motions. Once you see results, use a clean cloth to remove the toothpaste.
Spray insect repellent with DEET onto a rag, then rub over the headlight until you see results. Use a clean cloth to remove the excess big spray.
