The heart and soul of the new Edge Sport is its EcoBoost V-6 engine. The component delivers 315 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque, outshining the previous 3.7L V-6, which produced 305 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque. The new 2.7L V-6 engine’s compact design can be attributed to its incredible power offerings. Suspension upgrades, including 10-percent stiffer coil springs, 15-percent stiffer front/rear antiroll bars and improved damping, also support the new performance numbers and help deliver greater handling for drivers.
