Never doubt the power of a Ford F-150. That's the lesson you'll learn after watching the video below of a 2011 F-150 5.0 using all it has to tow a semi-truck off the beach at South Padre Island, TX. With little to go off of outside of the video, it's unclear as to how the semi even ended up on the beach, but as we could have told the driver, it was a terrible decision. However, some just have to learn the hard way.
Barely over a minute long, the video kicks in revealing a black F-150 and another red Ford truck just feet away from the semi stuck in the sand. A rope can also be seen connecting the back of the F-150 to the semi, and another one is visibly attached to the front of the F-150, which is connected to the back of the red truck. Both trucks then try to pull ahead in attempt to free the semi, but the red truck's rope snaps, leaving the F-150 to carry all the weight. Following a few solo efforts, the F-150 is eventually able to muster up all of its power to pull the semi out of the sand - most likely exceeding its towing limit in the process.
