The incoming 2015 Ford Mustang will be on sale in San Francisco soon, and to get ready for its rollout, Ford has unveiled the official power ratings for the new model. Available with a four-cylinder, V6 and V8 engine, the pony car offers a variety of power options for buyers to choose from. Each one will come matched with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, supporting their exceptional outputs and improving the Mustang's outstanding performance.

The biggest improvement in the Mustang's power ratings for 2015 is the 15 horsepower increase with this year's 5.0L V-8 engine. Equipped with a revised cylinder head and larger exhaust/intake valves, the engine delivers 435 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque, giving the Mustang an extra boost in comparison to last year's model. For those who prefer the turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder variant, a respectable 310 horsepower and 320 lb.-ft. of torque is what you can expect this year. The 3.7L V-6 engine will get you a lower 300 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque - a sufficient number that fans are sure to be pleased with.

With great power ratings and a minimal hike in weight for 2015, the Mustang is expected to perform well on the market. Come check out the 2015 Ford Mustang in Colma, just 15 minutes from San Francisco, when it's released later this month at Serramonte Ford!
