The incoming 2016 Ford GT has been crowned the 2015 Production Preview Concept of the Year and Most Significant Concept Vehicle of 2015. Offering incredible fuel efficiency, packed with a next-generation EcoBoost V6 engine and outfitted with lightweight carbon fiber components, the Ford GT is one of the most highly anticipated models arriving in 2016, and is widely admired for its exquisite styling and suite of innovative features.
A total of 30 vehicles were selected as finalists for the 2015 Concept Awards. These vehicles were chosen by over two dozen jurors, who were enlisted to pick the industry's best concepts that debuted during this season's auto shows. With its attractive looks, exceptional mechanics and first-class features, the Ford GT quickly won over the judges. Some of its highlights include Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment system, an active rear spoiler, a 700-horsepower 3.5L EcoBoost V6, a state-of-the-art chassis and a direct dual fuel-injection setup. Soon to be available at Serramonte Ford, the Ford GT is a phenomenal piece of machinery any Ford enthusiast would love to own.
This year marks the 20th time Ford has made it as a category finalist and the fifth time it's earned the coveted title. We are proud to see the Ford GT recognized for its overall design and capabilities, and look forward to its arrival on the market.
