Heavy rain leads to slick roads, and when you have slick roads, hydroplaning becomes an instant danger. By driving slowly and cautiously, you can help prevent this hazard from occurring. However, when there are other reckless drivers on the road, anything can happen. This is the situation one driver recently found himself in while he was traveling along the highway on a rainy day. He was cruising at a nice speed, when out of nowhere, a dump truck swerved into his lane and almost completely bulldozed right into the side of his car. Like a scene out of a movie, the driver pulled into the far right lane in time and escaped a horrible crash by a split second. The crazy incident was caught by a dashcam in the car in front of the potential victim and it's an insane sight you truly have to see.
In the one-minute clip highlighting the occurrence, you can see the car in the left lane making its way down the highway, when suddenly, the driver begins to quickly move into the right lane. Almost as soon as he does that, a big yellow dump truck comes into view and ends up inches away from the SUV, passing it and coming to a stop. The driver of the SUV then proceeds to slow down and pulls over to the side of the road as the car with the dashcam speeds away.
