Specs at a Glance
The 2026 Ford Bronco Sport continues to impress as a rugged and reliable choice for compact SUV shoppers. Two of the most popular trims, the Big Bend and the Badlands, offer distinct feature sets to suit a variety of needs. Both models are designed with the durability and utility needed for outdoor exploration.
Performance
The Big Bend is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower. The Badlands uses a 2-liter four-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower. The Big Bend features a standard all-wheel drive system, while the Badlands is equipped with an advanced 4x4 all-wheel drivetrain.
Steel skid plates and a factory lift-equipped suspension support off-road durability in the Badlands. Its twin-clutch rear-drive unit provides better grip by managing torque at the rear axle. The Big Bend includes five selectable G.O.A.T. modes, while the Badlands offers seven, including specialized Rock Crawl and Mud/Ruts settings.
Appearance
The 2026 Bronco Sport maintains its classic silhouette across both trims, but the Big Bend and Badlands have unique accents. The Badlands includes a shadow-black roof as standard, whereas the Big Bend comes with a body-color roof. Both vehicles feature white BRONCO lettering and a carbonized black grille. The Big Bend can also be optioned with body-color handles and an ebony-black grille with bronze-colored lettering.
Features
The Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 suite is standard on both trims to assist with driver safety. The Badlands model includes an upgraded camera system with trail view and front parking sensors. The digital experience is also different, with an 8-inch display in the Big Bend and a 12.3-inch cluster in the Badlands. For added comfort, the Badlands features dual-zone climate control and leather-trimmed heated seats.
