Their most recent venture is an exciting new video series that looks at educating shoppers on vehicle financing and credit; areas that are vital in securing a car deal you can afford.

“We’re making it easy for people to understand automotive financing by providing the straightforward information they need to make good decisions about one of their biggest purchases – a vehicle,” said Krista Conyers, Ford Credit Marketing director. “For example, the ‘What is Credit?’ video compares a credit score to a grade on a school report card.”

According to the automaker, “only four out of 10 Americans can correctly answer questions about common financial topics.” This can make the car buying process more difficult, even though it should be a time of great excitement and fun.

One of the age groups that these videos are targeting is in the up-and-coming millennial generation, where only 24 percent can answer financial questions. On top of the “What is Credit” video, there is also one about buying vs leasing and one about leasing overall and what customers should expect if they choose that option.
