Technological advances have allowed vehicle manufacturers to step up their game when it comes to features that make your life easier. As of the 2021 model year, Ford offers the ability to start your vehicle remotely using the FordPass app. This will be a standard feature for all Ford models moving forward.
Not only can you use the app to start your vehicle to prepare for your arrival, but you can also check to see if you've locked your doors, unlock them as you're approaching, and manage the maintenance that your vehicle requires in order to drive efficiently and safely at all times. The FordPass Setup Process and How To Start Your Engine
You can access the FordPass app through the app store, and it is completely free to access. Once the download has completed, you will be asked to create an account for your vehicle. Scan or enter the VIN to pair your app and your vehicle. You'll need to name your vehicle if you're managing other Ford models on your device. When it comes time to start your engine remotely, click on the vehicle you want to start. You will then press the remote start function.
