OUR FAMILY COALITION

OFC began when two Bay Area grassroots community-based organizations merged in the late 1990s. It has now grown to become the leading LGBTQ+ family advocacy agency in California, and one of the few such organizations of this size in the country. Individual families continue to be their inspiration; collective liberation and well-being continues to be their mission.
 

What They Believe

Our Family Coalition advances equity for the full and expanding spectrum of LGBTQ families and children through support, education, and advocacy. Their mission lives at the intersection of LGBTQ+ and family justice. They are driven by community, and inspired by a love of children and families. Their vision is of a just society where we all belong and thrive.

For over twenty years, Our Family Coalition has provided LGBTQ+ families in the Bay Area and beyond unparalleled support, education, and advocacy. They provide:

  • Support Groups & Playgroups
  • Workshops and Trainings
  • Major Yearly Events
  • Referrals
