GRAND NATIONAL RODEO COMMEMERATIVE 75TH ANNIVERSARY SILVER BUCKLE

Serramonte Ford had the unique honor of being a major sponsor at the 75th Annual Grand National Rodeo held at the Bay Area's celebrated location, The Cow Palace in Daly City. Even though the San Francisco area is considered a densely urban region, the Grand National has been held and celebrated at the Cow Palace for 75 years. People from throughout Northern California come to the Grand National Rodeo and Livestock Exhibition to watch popular rodeo events and learn more about California livestock and the work that goes into raising animals needed to address the demand for meat and dairy products. Hundreds of school children from San Francisco and the Peninsula visit this annual event to get a first-hand look at agriculture in action.
As the vehicle sponsor for this event, Serramonte Ford provided a truck to assist with moving equipment for the rodeo events. In addition, we donated items and provided transportation for "Golden Circle of Champions" pediatric cancer patients who were guests of the Cow Palace to the rodeo. The Cow Palace provides this support to pediatric cancer patients and helps raise awareness and funds to work towards advancement in treatment. MISS RODEO CALIFORNIA VISITS SERRAMONTE FORD
Every year there is a rodeo queen, and in 2023-2024 Miss Rodeo California is McKensey Middleton. These young women go through a grueling competition that includes riding expertise, agricultural knowledge and public speaking. They must compete while riding on horses they have no experience with and must be skilled enough to provide support as a rider during the rodeo competition to help "corral" horses and cattle after each "go."
