"WOMEN OF RODEO" & ANNUAL "FIESTA DEL CHARRO" 
CELEBRATIONS AT THE COW PALACE!

 
 

FIRST EVER "WOMEN OF RODEO" CELEBRATION

After 74 years of Grand National Rodeo history in the Bay Area, 2023 welcomed the first 'Women of Rodeo' celebration.  It was held at the Cow Palace Arena at 2600 Geneva Ave, Daly City, CA 94014 on Saturday, October 14, 2023. As the vehicle sponsor for this event, Serramonte Ford provided a truck to assist with moving barrels for the barrel racing rodeo events and supporting the Cow Palace staff. The Women of Rodeo event benefited "The Teal Foundation" and its efforts towards research and support for those suffering from ovarian cancer.  Additionally, this event raises awareness of the integral part women played in rodeo and agriculture for many years.  Watch the video below to see that even as far back as 1961 a woman held her own and triumphed in the cow horse world.




FIESTA DEL CHARRO - HONORING AND CELEBRATING
THE HISTORY OF THE VAQUERO TRADITION

 
On October 15, 2023 thousands of eager fans filled The Cow Palace to celebrate the Vaquero Tradition and be entertained by a fantastic line-up of live latin music.  This included such performers as, Lenin Ramirez, Jose Manuel Figueroa, Banda Cusillos, and Banda Corona del Rey.


A hugely popular event, Serramonte Ford was there as a sponsor and to display shiny new 2024 vehicle models. At Serramonte Ford, we truly value our latin-x and Spanish-speaking customers. To that end, we always have sales staff, finance staff and service staff available during store hours who are bilingual and can assist customer who prefer to speak Spanish when purchasing their vehicle.
