TO RAISE MONEY FOR GUIDE DOGS OF AMERICA

In partnership with IAMAW DL 190, Serramonte Ford offers brand new Ford Bronco SUV to anyone who can make a hole-in-one!

Serramonte Ford was honored to partner with the IAMAW DL 190 for several years to support the Michael & Joyce Day Memorial Annual Guide Dogs of America Golf Tournament. General Manager, Matt Shone joined one of the IAMAW DL 190 foursomes and we hosted a Hole-In-One prize.

Anyone who was skilled enough to hit a hole-in-one at the target Par 3 hole would win a brand new, 2023 Bronco SUV. Unfortunately no one was able to accomplish this feat this year, but a lot of fun was had while raising money for a very worthwhile organization.

The Guide Dogs of America is a 50l(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing guide dogs to qualified visually impaired individuals, sixteen years of age or older.

The cost to breed, raise and train a guide dog is approximately $48,000.00. All services including guide clog, harness, in-residence training and lifetime follow-up are FREE OF CI-WWE to the blind individual.

Since its founding in 1948 by Joseph Jones, Sr., a retired member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, GOA has graduated over 3,000 guide dog teams throughout the United States and Canada. GOA receives no funding from any government agencies. All donations come from individuals, businesses, foundations, clubs and organizations and bequests.
