PISTAHAN PARADE! MARCH PROUDLY DOWN MARKET STREET

The San Francisco Pistahan Parade kicks off the largest Filipino celebration on the West Coast.  The Parade takes place on Saturday, August 10th from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.  Come see the largest Filipino parade on the West Coast. The parade assembles at Larkin Street at Civic Center Plaza.The route of the parade goes straight down Market Street, with judging on Market Street between 6th and 5th Street. It ends at 4th Street and Mission Street at Yerba Buena Gardens, where you can go right into the Festival grounds. Come join us dance through the streets of San Francisco! CELEBRATING FILIPINO AMERICAN CULTURE IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

This year's Pistahan Festival will be held on Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 11th from 11am to 5pm at the Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. This event generally attracts more than 60,000 people. Yerba Buena Gardens is located in San Francisco on Mission Street between 3rd and 4th Streets.

On the Terrace level of Yerba Buena Gardens, attendees will find a free two-day outdoor event that's incredibly fun for the entire family. It features hands-on and authentic cultural experiences in 8 pavilions: Art, Culinary, Dance, Health, Heritage, Innovation, Sports and Tavern. The Pistahan Festival is a showcase of folk dance groups, variety entertainers, emerging talents and headline artists. The Festival supports local artisans, food vendors, entrepreneurs and more, and it provides opportunities for guests to discover Philippine history, heritage and traditions.
