What's New for the 2018 Ford Fiesta?

The new 2018 Ford Fiesta is slightly larger with a 0.4 inch wider rear track, 0.2 inch stretch of the wheelbase, and a front track that is 1.2 inches wider. The interior space has been revamped with a more dramatic look. The dashboard includes an 8.0 inch touchscreen that uses Ford's Sync 3 software. The room in the rear seat has been expanded, and a larger opening than in previous versions is offered by the rear hatch.

The 2018 Ford Fiesta line-up includes the entry level S, the luxury Titanium, and the generously equipped SE. All versions are offered in versatile hatchback and stylish sedans. In addition, you'll find a sporty 197-hp68 1.6L EcoBoost powered Fiesta ST.

The new 2018 Fiesta is offered in ten exterior colors that include Lightning Blue and Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clear coat, White Platinum Metallic Tri-coat, Outrageous Green, and the ST exclusive Orange Spice Metallic Tri-coat. Inside you will find great attention to details like the intuitive center console, soft touch materials, and the option of painted metallic accents and ambient lighting. Leather trimmed seats are also available.

When it comes to the Ford Fiesta ST, unique features like the black mesh grill with a red badge, center airfoil and rear diffuser, black headlamp bezels and fog lamps, twin chrome tipped exhaust, and the lower fascia extensions make it stand out. The appearance of the SE can be enhanced with a rear spoiler, body colored front bumper, and 16 inch Sparkle Silver painted aluminum wheels.


2018 Ford Fiesta SedanFord offers two types of engines in the Fiesta line-up in order to please every type of driver. The Fiesta S, SE, and Titanium come standard with a the 1.6L Ti-VCT I-4 while the ST has the high-output turbocharged and direct injected 1.6L Ti-VCT EcoBoost I-4. Those that prefer an automatic can choose the Power Shift six-speed with Select Shift. The front wheel drive 2018 Ford Fiesta will get up to 27 miles per gallon in the city with an efficient 37 MPG on the highway. Horsepower among all versions range from 120 to 197 hp.


2018 Ford Fiesta SafetySeveral safety features not found on previous Ford Fiesta's include adaptive cruise control, park assist, forward collision warning, blind-spot warning, lane-keeping assist, and pedestrian detection. ABS brakes will automatically know when the tire has stopped rotating during extreme braking. It immediately modulates the brake pressure which frees the tires to rotate once more, increasing your Ability to turn while braking. When the Fiesta's handling limits have been exceeded, the stability control kicks in and reduces the engine power. It even brakes when necessary to keep the driver in control of the vehicle.

The 2018 Fiesta is equipped with front impact, side impact, overhead, and knee airbags for maximum protection during a collision. In addition, the seatbelt pretensioners will automatically tighten the seat belts to place the driver and passengers in the best seating position during the collision.

Safety is taken one step further with the security system that detects unwanted intruders. The vehicle has an ignition disable device that can stop the engine from starting if the proper manufacturer key is not being used.
