2018 Ford Flex Overview

The Ford Flex is once again available in the San Francisco area. Back for 2018, the crossover/wagon hybrid continues to be offered in three trims: SE, SEL and Limited. It's also available with either six- or seven-passenger seating, benefiting car owners with large families. Versatile, spacious and ready for any cross-country trip, the three-row crossover is a must-have for today's drivers.

What Features Are in the 2018 Ford Flex?

Everything from 17-inch wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a six-way power driver seat to Bluetooth connectivity, voice command and a six-speaker audio system is standard on the 2018 Ford Flex in Colma. It also comes equipped with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, keyless entry, an auto-folding passenger side and rear privacy glass.

If you choose to purchase one of the higher models, a multitude of additional amenities can be had on the crossover. Remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, satellite radio, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are on the SEL trim. Get the range-topping Limited and you'll find a navigation system, automatic wipers, 19-inch wheels, a 12-speaker Sony audio system and power-folding mirrors.

Ford Flex Powertrains

A standard 3.5L V6 engine, delivering 287 horsepower and 254 lb.-ft. of torque, is found on the 2018 Ford Flex near San Francisco. A six-speed automatic transmission is matched to the crossover, sending power to the front wheels.

Move up to the Limited trim and you can outfit the Flex with a turbocharged 3.5L V6, offering 365 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque. This powerplant comes standard with all-wheel drive. On the SEL and Limited, the standard engine can also be paired with all-wheel drive.

Safety Equipment Found the Flex

No need to worry when riding around in your new Flex. It comes with a collection of safety features that will keep you protected.
