What's New For the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport?
The Ford Bronco Sport debuts for the first time in 2021. It follows on the heels of the Ford Bronco, which was recently re-released on the market following a long absence. Like the Bronco, the Bronco Sport contains some stylistic features reminiscent of the Bronco's original design that dates back to its earliest production years, including signature round headlights. The Bronco Sport gets some modern tweaks, however, including lights accented by LED bulbs. The Bronco Sport has a sporty exterior that is just as functional as it is appealing. With amenities including off-road tires on certain trims, custom wheels, and up to 10 paint colors, there are many ways to add the right finishing touches to your Ford Bronco Sport.
2021 Bronco Sport Trims & Features
The 2021 Bronco Sport lineup has five trims. You'll discover that even more amenities are added as you move up in the line. The first trim in the series is called the Base. The Base model gets a manually operated liftgate and a rear glass window that flips up. It also offers a safari-style roof. Flood lights are included starting with the base trim. Power-folding mirrors are standard, and it has configurable LED daytime running lights. An eight-inch infotainment system is standard. The Big Bend trim upgrades with automatic high beams and a rearview camera. Its infotainment system is a bit more advanced with the addition of navigation and voice recognition. The Outer Banks and Badlands, which are the next two trims, have unique styling accents on their exteriors, including special badges, black wheels, and heated black mirrors. The First Edition includes satellite radio, a panoramic camera, and full LED lighting in front.

2021 Ford Bronco Sport Horsepower
The Bronco Sport has two different engines. The first, which is under the hood of the Base through Outer Banks trims, is a turbocharged three-cylinder 1.5L gasoline engine. This engine connects to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The second engine is a larger turbocharged 2.0L with four cylinders. The second engine, which powers the Badlands and Outer Banks, has a higher power output of nearly 250 HP. The second engine also has an automatic transmission along with four-wheel drive.
Bronco Sport Safety
Safety amenities for the 2021 Bronco Sport include airbags, seat belts, and various active safety aids. Lane-keep assist, forward collision mitigation, and automatic emergency braking are standard. Lane-center assist and traffic sign recognition are optional.
