Described as a Victorian Christmas Card that's magically been brought to life, the Great Dickens Christmas Fair transports visitors to 19th century London, converting San Francisco's Cow Palace Exhibition Halls into a bustling town where it's always Christmas Eve. Costumed characters roam the town's streets, interacting with festival guests, and several performances are held, including a musical version of "Pinocchio," caroling at the Father Christmas Stage and the Saucy French Postcard Tableaux Revue.

Victorian era arts and crafts will also be on sale in the market and it's the perfect place to find a one-of-a-kind gift for yourself or a loved one! Handmade jewelry with precious stones, hand-carved candles, unique leather and wood items, Christmas ornaments and art glass are just a few of the treasures you'll find. And you can even get involved and make your own crafts at select stations.

In addition, pubs and food vendors will be offering traditional English ale and fare, such as Irish coffee, hot toddies, bread pudding, steak and potato pasties, bangers and mash, and other favorites.

Every year, San Francisco's Great Dickens Christmas Fair is a jolly good time, so don't miss your chance to attend before it's gone! The Victorian holiday wonderland is open for a final weekend this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20 and 21.
