Ford is attempting to improve nighttime driving by creating two new headlight systems that will be able to identify pedestrians, animals and potential hazards. Known as Advanced Front Lighting System and Spot Lighting, the technologies utilize cameras to locate upcoming dangers and hard-to-see junctions, and illuminate the road allowing drivers to easily spot each one.
