What's New for the 2022 Ford Edge?
Ford is including the Black Appearance package as an option for the base model SE trim level in 2022. This package includes 19-inch black wheels along with other black accents throughout the vehicle. If you opt for the SEL trim level, you can select the Adventure package, which includes 18-inch, all-terrain wheels, faux leather on the interior, and gray/black accents on the vehicle's exterior. On the interior, the 2022 Edge will include a safe on the center console, and there are two new exterior colors offered; Flight Blue and Forged Green.
2022 Ford Edge Trims & Features
The 2022 Ford Edge will be offered in five different trim levels, including the base model SE. From there, the trim levels go up to include the SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and ST. The top-end ST comes with the most powerful engine inclusion, but it's also the most expensive option. We recommend checking out the middle-of-the-road SEL trim level if you are looking for upgraded features on a budget, such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, digital gauge display, an automatically dimming rearview mirror, LED fog lights, heated seats in the front row, and a nine-speaker sound system.
2022 Ford Edge Horsepower
The base engine inclusion for the 2022 Ford Edge is a turbocharged four-cylinder model that provides 250 horsepower. It provides adequate power based on the size of the Edge. The ST trim level comes with a 2.7-liter V6 engine that can achieve 335 horsepower through a twin-turbo design.
2022 Ford Edge Safety
The Ford Edge comes with a number of standard safety features for the 2022 model year, including automatic emergency braking and lane-departure warning technology with lane-keep assist. Plenty of upgrades are available as well, including adaptive cruise control.
