The Expedition is powered by a 10-speed automatic gearbox and a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine with 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of engine power. High-output F-150 Raptor engines with 440 horsepower and 510-pound foot of torque are also available.
What Safety Features Does the 2023 Expedition Include?
The 2023 Expedition has not yet been crash tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety or the NHTSA. Although they only scored 3 out of 5 in rollover testing, rear-wheel drive vehicles were rated 4 out of 5 for side-impact protection. Ford will add BlueCruise to the 2023 Expedition Platinum model. BlueCruise is a high-tech driver assistance system that may help the driver steer and brake at highway speeds.
